Abstract

• The economy of North Labuhanbatu in 2019 compared to the previous year grew by 5.15 percent. Based on the production approach, the highest growth was achieved by the Business Field providing accommodation and food and drink by 7.85 percent. Followed by the Information and communication Business Field at 7.64 percent and the Government administration, defense and compulsory social security Business Field at 6.36 percent.

• Under the expenditure approach, the LNPRT consumption expenditure component achieved the highest growth at 9.83 percent, followed by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation component at 8.08 percent and the household consumption expenditure component at 4.99 percent.

North Labuhanbatu Economy in 2019 Grows by 5.15 Percent

• Three business fields that gave a dominant role to the Labuhanbatu Utara GRDP in 2019, namely: agriculture, forestry and fisheries by 33.21 percent, processing industry by 29.40 percent and wholesale and retail trade and car and motorcycle reperation by 17.72 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the household consumption expenditure component (PKRT) gave the largest contribution of 47.97 percent, following the gross fixed capital formation (PMTB) component by 27.09 percent, and the net export component by 16.69 percent.

• Nominally, North Labuhanbatu's GRDP in 2019 based on current prices reached Rp.24,378.34 billion and GRDP at constant 2010 prices reached Rp.17,259.19 billion.
